SK:     Na mieste brodu z cias Rakusko-Uhorska zapocala v roku 1967 stavba druheho Bratislavskeho mosta (Most SNP) cez rieku Dunaj. Na realizaciu bol vybrany sutazny navrh kolektivu Prof. A.Tesara a Prof.Ing.arch J.Lacku zo stavebnej fakulty. V tom case vo svete podobne objekty neboli. Podporny pilier bolo potrebne umiestnit na opacnu stranu od historickeho centra a na ziadost Dunajplavby mimo koryto rieky, cim sa projekt stal unikatny. Navyse 95 metrov vysoky pilon poskytoval vyhlad, tak na jeho vrchole navrhli disk o priemere 35 metrov, v ktorom umiestnili kaviarnicku a nad nou vyhliadkovu plosinu. Na stavbu 431 metrov dlheho a 21 metrov sirokeho visuteho mosta bolo spotrebovane 7537 ton ocele, pricom museli byt v koryte rieky vybudovane dva docasne-pomocne piliere. 330 metrov dlhe asymetricke lana su upnute na sikmom pilone vo vyske 85 metrov. 26.8.1972 bol oficialne most otvoreny a v roku 2000 ziskal pravom ocenenie "Stavba storocia".
   Kedze toto dielo je nepochybne jednou z bratislavskych dominant, rozhodli sme sa sem umiestnit jednoduchu skrysu spolu s Lafranconi Bridge, Old Bridge, Apollo Bridge a Port Bridge.

    New Bridge, formerly Most SNP (Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising) in Bratislava is a road bridge over the Danube in the capital of Slovakia. It was built between 1967 and 1972 and projected by A. Tesár, J. Lacko, and I. Slamen. Officially opened on August 26, 1972. It is an asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge with a main span length of 303 metres. Its steel construction hangs on steel ropes, which are mounted on the Petržalka river side at two pillars. The total length of the bridge is 431 metres, the width is 21 metres and the weight 7537 tonnes. A special attraction is a flying saucer-like restaurant, called (since 2005) "UFO" , on an 84.6 metre pylon of the bridge. One can reach the restaurant using an elevator situated in the left pillar. The restaurant offers a good view over Bratislava. In the right pillar there is an emergency staircase with 430 stairs. The Nový Most has lanes for cars, bikes and pedestrians.
