Easy terrain. Juniper & sagebrush. Lots of solitude. An interesting trail up a draw. Some rock scrambling. Lots of open country for dogs to romp and roll. A few nice views. 1.5 mile round trip. Three waypoints before final cache.
This is not only a fun spot to spend some time with your dogs, it has a cache jam packed full of the bestest dog toys and accessories known to dog. Each and every item was geopup approved. Dutch and Shelby could hardly take their eyes off all the great loot that was going into the ammo can. For cachers who are canine deprived, they also added some human prizes into the cache as well.
Time's a wasting. Get your fannies and tails on the trail! Your pups are going to love this hike.
There's a pretty decent parking spot at 44:00.458N 121:08.016W. The entrance gate happens to be here too.
