Geocache Description:

A roadside micro, placed to commemorate the first Mitsubishi L200 Owners Club Irish event held in January 2006. Of the club members attending, 3 of us are active cachers and we are hoping the event will become a regular annual event, both for L200 owners and for L200 caching !!

I was introduced to Geocaching by Steve (The Windsockers) in October of 2005 at a cache in North Wales and don't seem to have looked back since. We're both keen and active members of the L200 club and it's lively forum. So it's no surprise that we do a fair bit of caching together as well as indulging in the activeties of the L200 Owners Club.

As I visit relations in Ireland regularly, it gives me a great opportunity to place a cache and be part of the Irish caching scene.

This one is located just outside the sleepy village of Moneenroe in Co. Killkenny on a quiet stretch of the N78 and was chosen for it's proximity to a relations house that I spend a lot of time at, so be warned, we may be watching you !!

Parking is possible right next to the cache, making it an ideal cache and dash drive by.
