Geocache Description:

A pleasant walk in the Florida woods. Listen to the sounds of wildlife in the wetlands and the soothing rush of a waterfall.
(If that doesn't say DEET to you, you haven't really found 25 caches in Florida).

The cache is not at the coords above.
Read below to learn how to qualify to log this cache.

In 2004, Haicoole unveiled the California DeLorme Challenge cache. This cache is a twist on that idea.

Who is up to the Challenge? The cache reviewers of Florida proudly post the

North Florida Challenge Quest

South Florida Challenge Quest

and for those completely committed cachers there's the ultimate

Final Florida Challenge Quest

In the image above, the blue and green illustrate the Florida counties for the purpose of the Quest. Find a cache in each county, 25 for South Challenge, and 42 for North. No whining about how they aren't equal; each Challenge offers the opportunity for a lot of travel around our beautiful state.

Florida Quest North and South will work as follows : In order to claim this cache, you must first find a cache in each county (25 for South Challenge, 42 for North) (no whining about how they aren't equal - each Challenge offers the opportunity for a lot of travel around our beautiful state). Then send the appropriate reviewer a bookmark containing your finds for the quest. OR you can use the project-gc checker and copy the output to a log, thanks. At the minimum a list containing cache name, GC Code, date of find. Your file will be checked out (this may take some time) and you will then be sent the coordinates for the the appropriate Quest final.

PGC Checker

There's project-gc macro that will show your qualifying caches, making it much easier to build that list. This requires validating your account on project-gc. They're a certified API partner to Geocaching.com.

In the logbooks of the North and South Challenge Caches you will find a codeword.
You'll need both codewords to reveal the secret of The Final Challenge.

Many thanks go out to Haicoole for the original idea for this cache and to
FloridaCacher, who initiated the Florida Challenge Quest.
