Time for a new favourite view! This one overlooks La Jolla Shores beach and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (sio.ucsd.edu), with a view to the cove and beyond. Please cover it up carefully -- there is lots of vegetation available!
Nice and simple - follow the drainage channel up from below, or one of the flatter paths from near the tennis courts or the apex of the bend to the south. (Parking on Horizon Way is often good.)
Cache is a small lock-and-lock, no tricks or special instructions. It can be busy with students and surfers taking shortcuts across the area, so watch out for muggles.
The cache is at ground level. If you find that somebody has replaced it high up or elsewhere, please contact cache owner for re-placement!
PUBLIC TRANSIT: You can reach this cache via the #30 bus line, which runs from the UTC shopping center, through La Jolla and Pacific Beach, to downtown. Find schedules at www.sdcommute.com.
