A most familiar and yet mysterious number is the ratio of a
circle's circumference to its diameter. This number is the
universal constant known as PI. The value of PI was set when the
Universe was created. And yet, billions of years later, it contains
the coordinates of this cache, easily read in the listing of PI’s
digits.
- The full N coordinate can be found starting at the 12,334,954
th digit of PI
- The full W coordinate can be found starting at the 80,937,058
th digit of PI.
A note from the creator (creator of the cache, not the Creator
of the Universe) .... Unless you’ve memorized PI to a zillion
digits, you need a source for PI. Do not call Baker’s Square.
One last thing .... Pens were not yet invented when the Universe
was created so bring your own.
30-Mar-2006: The container was relocated within the park on the
warmest (so far) day of the year. It was hidden on the coldest day,
and the cachemaster didn't want to die in the attempt so it was
originally a drive up hide. No marker was left at the location to
minimize the wear and tear already evident. Difficulty and terrain
values slightly increased.
