Geocache Description:

As you probably guessed the cache is not at the posted coordinates. They will however give you a great up close and personal view of the Funk water tower. You will need to solve the puzzle below to locate the cache. There is no clue at the tower. No need to go there.

While working on the Nebraska Delorme Challenge (GCR57E) “fresh start”, I found that I had completed page 73 just days before the challenge began and no new caches had been placed since. I sent out a plea to my geobuddies in the Kearney/Hastings area for a new cache placement on this page of the atlas since they already maintain caches in the area. My pleas fell on laughing but deaf ears!

I decided to take matters in my own hands and give back to that group of dedicated hiders that have made many of my days enjoyable by their wonderful hides, by placing a cache in their honor, in their back yard. This one’s for you guys!

Have you noticed each time you list a cache you get No attributes found. It almost demands giving your fellow cachers these little icons to make their search easier somehow. You are limited however to using 10 per cache page. Would it be better if you could use more? Would it make it easier for the cacher? I decided to find a way to use more than the maximum of 10. I am not sure they make the cache easier or better, but it was definitely more fun for me! You may not find all are applicable at the cache site, but I have edited my attributes to show the ones that might be.

The puzzle is a 3 1/2 star difficulty only if you don’t receive help from your fellow cacher. :-}

Here is a link to the attributes and their meanings. I hope this is helpful.

For the first finder, included in the baggie with the logbook is a Yosemite National Park geocoin to start or add to your collection of coins. This coin is new, numbered, unregistered and trackable on geocaching.com.

NOTE: There are some renegades that have decided to search certain wildlife areas on page 73 without quite solving the puzzle. Well, have fun and good luck!
*Please research applicable hunting seasons for each type of area and use caution when searching.
