Robmc: Went down to GZ today well prepared with side mounded scuba gear, but I could not locate the cache - I suspect it is buried but my trowel couldn't find it.
Also, the council has removed two of the transits and replaced them (in different positions) with palm trees.
So I am archiving the cache.
Sorry to those who tried to find it.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

When two objects are observed in line they are said to be in transit and the observer must be on the extension line joining them.

This is a summer cache (unless you have a wet-suit). It involves getting wet - very wet. This is not a cache to do in your suit before an interview.

You will be required to swim about 50 meters and duck-dive about 2-3 meters depending upon the tide. (See below for information about the tides in Williamstown.) You will require a face mask (your eyes are designed to look thru air not water) and a snorkel would be helpful. If you are going to poke around, I would suggest some gloves as there are sea urchins around.

You will not require your GPS in the water, nor will you need a pen. Swaps are difficult to carry in your teeth, and the cache size is small.

The start location is just in the park, and has no other bearing except to give the approximate area to park.

The four way points can be lined up into two intersecting transits giving two points on the earth's surface - but only one in Willi.
I would recommend lining up 1 & 2 then 3 & 4, but it is up to you.
