Geocache Description:

Located in one of the little visited but spectacular National Parks of the Flinders Ranges.
The dutchmans Stern area was named as such because of its resemblance to a ship!

To reach the cache site you will need to do either of the walks that start from the carpark and trailhead at S32 17.922 E137 59.137
There are no steep sections in the walks however they vary in length from 8.2 to 10.5 km round trips so be prepared especially in hot weather. Trails are well marked though and from GZ there are rewarding views of the surrounding areas including Port Augusta, Mounts' Arden & Brown, the Devils Peak and Quorn

Container is an ammo box half covered by a small rocky outcrop and next to a little grass tree (bush). It is placed at ground level with a couple small rocks to hide the exposed edge.

Happy Hunting and please take some time when you are in the area to enjoy the views and explore the other facilities of the park.
