Geocache Description:

1st Annual MiGO SW Chapter

Chili Cook Off

Some like it HOT, some like White and some like it Cincinnati Style.  Well why don’t you make a pot of chili the way you like it and bring it for others to try. The cook off will be limited to the first 15 people to respond with what type of chili they will be bringing. A note posted to the cache page will work.

The 1st Annual MiGO SW Chapter Chili Cook-Off will be an event you won’t want to miss.  What more could you ask for, than an opportunity to cache with good friends and a chance to make some new ones? An opportunity to eat some good chili of course.

So if you are willing to make a pot of chili for others to try, please let us know, also let us know what kind of chili it is.  The event page will be updated with a list of who’s brining what.  All preparation will need to be done before hand and brought to the event in crock pots to keep it warm.  If your not into making chili we would welcome some 2 liters of  Non-alcoholic beverages for everyone to enjoy.

The doors to the event will open at 9:00 am.  You can come any time after that to drop off your pot of chili and get it warming up.  You can use this time to chat with others, get a group together to head out and hit some caches or just hang out.  Plan to meet back at the event at 1:00 to begin the taste testing, vote for the one you like best and enjoy some more time to socialize.  A prize will be awarded to the top vote getter.  Things will wrap up around  3:00.
