Troisième d'une série de caches
"Retour aux sources"!
This is the third in a series of "Back to Basics" caches!
Avec cette cache, pas besoin d'être
diplômé en physique, philo... pour trouver la cache. Pas de Sudokus
à résoudre, pas besoin de connaître le Swahili :-) Par contre,
quelques éléments de base en maths sont utiles ;-) !
With this cache, no need to hold a master degree in physics,
philosophy, etc... to get to the cache. No Sudokus solving, no
knowledge of Swahili needed :-) Some basic knowledge of maths might
be useful, however ;-) !
Vous pouvez laisser votre voiture aux
coordonnées de départ et continuer à pied ou à vélo, ou alors faire
la majeure partie en voiture. Seuls les dernières centaines de
metres sont inaccessibles en voiture.
You can leave your car at the start coordinates and continue by
foot or bike, or you can do most of the trip by car. Only the last
few hundred meters are not accessible by car.
Attention: Il s'agit
d'une cache "offset". Du départ à la cache, compter environ 3 km
par le chemin le plus court, et il faudra au minimum faire le même
chemin au retour. Mais, si vous choisissez le bon chemin à l'aller,
et retournez comme suggéré plus bas, vous aurez fait une belle
ballade!
Warning: This is an offset cache. Shortest way
from the starting point to the cachez is about 3 km, and you'll
have to come back the same distance. But if you choose the right
way to WP1, and come back as suggested below, you will not regret
it!

Chemin de retour

Pour retourner de la cache au WP1, si vous
avez une demie heure à perdre, continuez jusqu'à
l'écluse CC-1, traversez, et revenez par l'autre
rive.
Ensuite, vous pouvez passer par N50° 36.375 E4°
13.360, et prendre un bateau-mouche pour remonter le plan
incliné. Attention: uniquement les dimanches des
mois d'été (allez savoir pourquoi...), plus d'infos ici.
Mais, même en dehors de cette période, la ballade vaut la peine! Si
vous ne prenez pas le bateau, suivez le sentier en hauteur, sur la
"rive" ouest.
To go back to WP1, if you have half an hour spare,
continue to lock CC-1, cross the
water, and come back on the other shore.
Then, you can go via N50° 36.375 E4° 13.360, and
take a boat to go up the ramp. Warning: only on
Sundays during summer (don't ask me why...), more info to be found
here. But even outside this period, the walk is still
worth it! If you don't take the boat, follow the path on the
heights of the west "bank".
