Vad vore en jul utan Jenny Nyström....??
Here in sweden its hard to not come in contact with Jenny Nyström especailly in the chistmas time.

Jenny Nyström föddes på Norra V 6 1854, men denna gömman
ligger på bakgatan som har fått hennes namn.
Hon är född i det stora röda huset med namnet Jennygården.
Så jag dedikerar denna gömman till hennes ära..

Jenny Nyström (born 1854,in this nabourhood in the
house namned Jennygården died 1946, Stockholm) was an artist and illustrator of children's books.
She studied painting with Carl Larsson and Anders Zorn. She is famous for helping to popularize the Swedish Christmas figure jultomten. Her paintings became very popular as Christmas cards.
