EspritS3: Bye Bye EspritS3.
He Is Not With Us Anymore.
I Hope You Found His Caches Both Novel & Entertaining.

His caches maybe inplace for the next few days untill we have had time to collect them all in, if you want one last visit. We may place them in a big container and name it "Grab A Cache" so as you can reuse them.

Geocache Description:

“Yes Another Croft Challenge” (Sorry it’s took so long folks, I made the container months ago as you know). This cache will take you out of the south side of the village for a change, not quite as scenic as the caches to the North in my opinion, but hopefully an enjoyable walk all the same.

The cache container is made of a Wurtheys Original sweat tin in the form of a Milk Churn! 8” High 4” Diameter, this tin has been heavily modified first being covered in Realtree Camo-Tape then a Camo Spray Job over that, then final a little camo netting for added hide-abiity in IVY, It weighs about

As the name of the cache implies the container has a handle on it and is hung “OUT ON A LIMB” of a tree using a 6” nail, and it is approximately 10-12 feet above the ground. To retrieve this cache and to be able to place it back in situe again safely you will need to make a TOOL / S.

The perfect tool for the job would be a light weight 8 foot long pole (Washing Line Prop) with a strong 3 inch diameter, half circular hook angled at 70 degrees the the shaft (Made out of a metal coat hanger).
How ever you should be able to make very similar suitable tool using other materials i.e. Garden Canes / Broom Handle / Metal Garden Wire / Gaffer,Duck or Parcel Tape / Cable Ties or Fishing Rod etc. etc.

To make the cache more interesting you may need to look up a few trees ?. The cache could be up tree 1, tree 2 or tree 3, maybe it might be up tree 3 and then the week after I move it to tree 2 or 1 ?. All trees are within 15” foot approx. of the yellow footpath marker posts.

When you get to the main road PLEASE TAKE A GREAT DEAL OF CARE, this is a very very fast road and children should be kept at your side at a times, when approaching and crossing the road, take special care for vehicles approaching from the RIGHT.

Note: If you manage to retrieve the cache but cannot manage to place it back, please hide at the base of the tree and tell me in your e-mail and I will go and reset it ASAP.

I hope this cache proves both novel and enjoyable. It may be a good one for D.I.Y parents with young kids, as you could take the tool components along with you and let the children build the tool to get the cache down out the tree.
