Midway between the Star of India and Seaport Village is an area dedicated to part of America’s sea power in World War II. Here you will find a combination of art and historical facts, and a wonderful view of an awesome part of American history.
The cache is a camouflaged plastic container about 3 1/2” long and 3” in diameter, with room for small items. It is hidden on the ground in the shrubbery area. This could be a quick find, but make it a slow grab (for your own sake). Please take the time to rehide it according to the hint below.
FTF has choice of starting swag, including site-related magnets, a small commemorative spoon, mini jet, hologram coin, stickers, and San Diego magnets.
NOTE: If you remove a trackable (Travel Bug, Geocoin, etc.) please delete it from the inventory list in the box to the right side by clicking on its name, then clicking on found it on the trackable page that will appear, and "retrieving" it. This will prevent it from being listed as missing and you can then drop it in another cache.
