Mythen umranken nicht nur das Geschlecht der Lützelhardter, sondern
auch ihre Burg. Die Herren von Lützelhardt werden bereits 1111
geschichtlich erwähnt. Der Bau ihrer Burg wird jedoch erst in den
Jahren zwischen 1220 und 1240 angenommen. Andere Datierungen
sprechen von 1235 und 1255.
Für den Untergang der Burg, für den die Geroldsecker verantwortlich
sein sollen kommen entweder die Jahre 1250 oder die Jahre
1261 bis 1271 in frage. In jedem Fall soll es zwischen den
Lützelhardter und Geroldsecker in dieser Zeit heftige
Auseinandersetzungen gegeben haben.
Vielleicht weckt nun einige Jahrhundert später die Stätte auch euer
Interesse, wenn ihr euch auf die Suche nach dem dort (frisch ;-)
versteckten Schatz begebt. Dieser ist zu finden bei
N48°18.974 E07°57.126.
Parken kann man bei N48°18.733 E07°56.730. Von dort sind es ca.
20++ Minuten auf einem steilen Pfad bis zur Ruine.

High over the
valley
Myths entwine not only the line of the Lützelhardter but also their
castle. The gents of Lützelhardt are already mentioned in the yera
1111. But the construction of the castle is assumed not before the
years 1220 to 1240. Others dates mention the years 1235 and
1255.
The fall of the castle, for which the Geroldsecker are made
responsible, is dated either for the year 1250 or the years 1261 to
1271. In any case there were severe conflicts between both
parties.

looking for the (newly) hidden treasure at
N48°18.974 E07°57.126.
Parking is possible at N48°18.733 E07°56.730. It takes about 20++
minutes by foot on a steep path to get to the remains of the
castle.
