“Türme sind eine Herausforderung
für die Erbauer und die Benutzer. Wer den Turm erklimmt hat
Überblick und Weitsicht, er bringt die Menschen dem Himmel ein
Stück näher”, mit diesen Worten wurde im Oktober 2004 die
Einweihung des durch einen Verein finanzierten Aussichtsturms auf
dem Hünersedel eröffnet.
Mit 744m ist der Hünersedel der höchste Punkt des Schuttertals. Von
dem 29 m hohen Turm könnt Ihr die Aussicht in die Region genießen
und auch schon nach dem Cache Ausschau halten.
Dieser ist nicht weit vom Turm entfernt bei
N48°12.283 E07°58.367 versteckt. Aber Vorsicht! Bei schönem Wetter
ist hier einiges los und es kann dann etwas dauern bis man den
Cache unbemerkt bergen kann.
Bei Nacht weckte der Turm bei uns Erinnerungen zu den dreibeinigen
Maschinen der Marsianer aus “War Of The Worlds” von H. G.
Wells.
Für die nicht ganz so Wanderfreudigen (oder die, die es eilig
haben) besteht eine Parkmöglichkeit bei
N48°11.962 E07°58.818. Die Anfahrt dorthin braucht allerdings auch
seine Zeit.
Eine schöne Ausicht und viel Spaß bei der Suche!

“Towers are a challenge for the
designers and the users. Those who climb up the tower get
overview and distance vision, it brings humans closer to the sky”,
with these words the look-out was officially opened in October
2004. The tower was financed by an private association.
With 744m the Huenersedel is the highest point of the Schuttertal
From the towers 29m heights you can enjoy the view into the region
and take a look out for the cache. The cache is hidden not far away
from the tower at
N 48°12.283 E 07°58.367. But caution! In beautiful weather the spot
is frequently visited and then it might take some time to get a
chance to retrieve the box unobserved.
At night the tower woke memories in us to the three-legged-machines
of the Martians from "War of the Worlds" from H. G. Wells.
If you do not enjoy hiking too much (or do not have enough time)
there is a nearby parking place at
N48°11.962 E07°58.818. Driving up there will take it's time of
course.
