The cache is hidden in the Baakens River valley – a greenbelt that runs through much of Port Elizabeth’s suburbia and all the way to the CBD. The cache is hidden on a rocky outcrop of the Guinea Fowl trail that runs the length of the valley. The trail is often used by people jogging, mountain biking or walking their dogs. It is in a rather large (10l or so) Tupperware type cylindrical container within a plastic bag. It is camouflaged with loose rocks and it tucked in below a sharply pointed ledge. You will have to be sure footed to approach from below (the trail side), but an easier longer route can be found by walking up a path close by and then approaching from above. The area is home to many bird species and some hopefully harmless homeless people – though latter keep a low profile. Nevertheless please try and ensure that you are not observed when retrieving the cache. Original contents: Logbook, pencil, geocache note, torch, yo-yo and tennis ball, dinosaur
