Geocache Description:

This cache is located about 250 feet from the tow path along the canal near the Washington Crossing Park - PA side.

There was a pretty nice hiking/biking path back here when I was growing up (years ago), but now not much is left of it so I doubt anyone but animals are going back there now.

The hide is at the base of a tree that broke off about 8 ft high and is covered with wood and bark. When you get to GZ you'll find that information is not very helpful, but at least it will narrow things down a little.

A good parking spot is at N 40° 17.450 W 074° 52.580 - right at the entrance to the PA Washington Crossing Park off Route 532 (aka General Washington Memorial Blvd.) by the lake. You can approach from the waypoint near the canal but you will have several fallen trees to climb over, you can also enter the woods directly across from the park entrance, but please don't cross the street there - there is a pedestrian crossing about 250 ft further down.
