Geocache Description:

This is one of four micro caches around the Havant area which lead to a fifth and final regular sized cache called "Dog's Home".

This is not the location of the cache.

The cache is located in a part of the Havant area which is often unknown to the casual traveller.
It involves a walk of about 0.3 miles over rough grassland and some paths.
The terrain is not suitable for pushchairs or cycles and can be a little muddy in wet weather.
Due to the nature of this site, it is strongly recommended to keep dogs on a lead and to keep children under close control.

Look to see who the big building is named after. Count the number of letters in his full name (as spelt on the board).

1 Multiply the number of letters in the name by 9 - then add 2. Deduct this total from the last 3 digits of the given Northings. This will give you the Northings value for the cache.

2 Multiply the number of letters in the name by 5 - then add 6. Add this total to the last 4 digits of the givent Westings. This will give you the Westings value for the cache.

To ensure that you have correctly added and subtracted the above figures, all 15 digits of the final cache location should add up to 51.

The walk will take you along safe and clearly defined pathways but, at one point, you will have to ignore an "advisory" type of notice.

Please ensure that the container is firmly sealed when you have finished with the contents.

Due to the small size of this container, no swops are possible and you will need to bring your own pen or pencil and paper.

The cache is a screwtop canister measuring about 4" x 1" and contains only a paper log sheet bearing some numbers .

Write down these numbers and keep them safe since they form part of the co-ordinates for “Dog’s Home”, the 5th and final cache in this series
