A cache in the woods, in the middle of a freeway interchange.
Congratulations to Stoneposse for ftf.
Tulsa's Creek Turnpike Trail has been extended to this area from three directions, east, west, and north. The cache can be reached from any of these extensions. The east and north are connected right now. I think the west will be connected via a pedestrian bridge soon.
You can take the trail from Mingo to the west, where it crosses the Creek Turnpike, or from Garnett and 96th street S from the east, or from 91st street from the north.
Please don't do something stupid like pulling off on one of the freeways, it is not necessary, is not legal, and you will put yourself and others in danger.
The container is a plastic Bismati Rice jar, wrapped in camo tape and stashed at the base of a tree and covered up with sticks. It contains a few fun items and Brett Favre themed travel bug.
Enjoy and be safe.
