Are you Nuts? Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

2Wheel'in: Went out this morning to check on the cache...3 DNF's in a row is cause for worry[:O]. The container is gone, and someone has a new "Squirrel" for a pet. This cache had a great run: 169 Finds; 11 DNF's, and it would have celebrated its 6 year birthday in another 12 days. Many thanks to all who've hunted it, I've enjoyed your logs, and hope it brought a smile to the face of the finders[^]. The cache will not be replaced.

Geocache Description:

Voted NoVAGO's 2005 Most Outstanding Family/Kid Friendly Cache.

Located along the Horse Path that runs parallel to the Washington & Old Dominion Railroad Regional Park (W&OD Bike Trail). Placed for the October 2, 2005 Hot, Hot, Hot! Cache Event.

The cache is hidden within 10 or so feet of the trail, and there is no true bushwhacking required. You’ve seen this “container” before, hundreds and hundreds of times and I think it will bring a smile to your face. Please bring a pen/pencil to sign the log, be discreet when retrieving and replacing the “container” and return it to its original hiding spot so it won't be accidentally spotted.
NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy
