Geocache Description:

UtahJean told me about this confluence and asked me if I wanted to go with. I said sure, I havn't done a confluence before it sounds like fun. She then sent me a link to check out where we were going (visit link) and the next morning we were off for an adventure. She planned out a nice route for us to go and we eventually found a great place to start from. I would use Expert GPS to plot a route. It started out very nice, flat, and dry. We then came to the edge of the marsh. It veried in depth and thickness and seemed to go on forever. Once through the real thick stuff we had a mile to go. We kept on sloshing through the water and mud till about .50 of mile to the cache. From here it looked like the salt flats, barren and white. When we arrived at the confluence we tried to zero out three GPS units and I placed a cache in the middle of where they all thought it should be. So if your adventurous and want to grab a confluence and a cache, come on out here. Just come prepared.
