Together we are on a
quest to find the Holy Grail. “So forget any ideas you've got
about lost cities, exotic travel, and digging up the world. We
do not follow maps to buried treasure and 'X' never, ever
marks the spot.”
The coordinates provided will take you to a reasonable place to
park and a good place to start your quest. I would recommend the
East side of the road.
I have attached half of a torn note I found in the catacombs
beneath St. Stevens in Venice, two years ago. We knew we were on to
something, however, it is clear that the other half must be found.
That’s why I have turned to you for help. Circumstances, that I am
not able to share with you at this time, prevent me from searching
on my own. I only ask that you keep me posted on your progress and
share the wealth and fame should you be successful.
Last week I received these two pages in the mail, they were torn
from my colleague’s diary. He has not been heard from since. Time
is of the essence, as I fear others may have the jump on us. Good
luck and stay in touch.
Lessons we have learned the hard way:
One must not attempt this quest alone.
Contact with the outside world will be cut off.
Do not go at night. duh
Tell friends where you will be going and when you expect to
return.
A fear of closed spaces will assure your failure. In any case you
will be uncomfortable.
You will get wet. (equipment is available along the way, one size
fits all).
Never go without an implement of writing.
You will need a source of reliable illumination.
You do not need to find every cache, so maybe you should pass on
this one.
