Schon mal von SuDoku gehört? SuDoku ist ein japanisches Zahlenspiel, das irgend wie an Rubik's Cube (den "Zauberwürfel") errinnert.
Su heisst "Nummer" und doku bedeutet "einzeln"
Das Rätselspiel wurde unter dem Namen Carré latin vom Schweizer Mathematiker Leonhard Euler im 18. Jahrhundert erfunden. Seinen Durchbruch erlangte das Sudoku jedoch erst, als eine japanische Zeitschrift solche Rätsel regelmäßig abdruckte. Diese Rätselart ist seit 2005 über eine britische Zeitschrift auch in Europa populär geworden und gehört inzwischen zum Standard vieler Rätselseiten in Zeitungen.
Die Spielregeln:
? In jeder Spalte und in jeder Zeile darf jede Zahl nur einmal vorkommen.
? Außerdem muss jede Zahl auch in jedem der 3x3-Felder vorkommen.
? Doppelungen sind nicht erlaubt.
Sudoku (Japanese: ??, sudoku), sometimes spelled Su Doku, is a placement puzzle. The aim of the puzzle is to enter a numeral from 1 through 9 in each cell of a grid, most frequently a 9×9 grid made up of 3×3 subgrids (called "regions"), starting with various numerals given in some cells (the "givens"). Each row, column and region must contain only one instance of each numeral. Completing the puzzle requires patience and logical ability. Its grid layout is reminiscent of other newspaper puzzles like crosswords and chess problems. Sudoku initially became popular in Japan in 1986 and attained international popularity in 2005.
