WhereToCache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

sir_zman: It is my sad duty to archive this cache after nearly 5 years. It is one of the older Eden Prairie caches and it has been my pleasure to be a part of caching in EP. I no longer work in the area and find that I am not able to offer maintenance on this cache any longer, I am sure I can find a good spot for an ammo can in my neck of the woods.

As of the time I retrieved the cache, there were NO travel bugs or coins in it, so if some are listed in its inventory, then they must have gone missing.

To everyone who logged this cache, thank you. To everyone who has it in their GPS and doesn't know it's Archived, sorry if you spent time looking for it.

This cache was my first cache and it holds lots of memories for me, the location I hid it in had a nice path right up to the cache when I placed it...today when I went to get the container, I didn't even recognize the area, it had become so overgrown. If someone wants to put another cache back here, I hope they will put a larger cache...we have enough micros in the woods, we need larger containers in areas like this that will hold larger containers.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Eden Prairie, MN along a city walking path near Highway 5.

This is my first hide so I hope everyone enjoys it. I put it down a hill from my work, (which is where the name comes from, for an extra bit of fun, try to find out the company name; a little investigating can lead to the answer).

I have seen a lot of animals in the area, including deer, so enjoy your walk, but be careful, as ticks are known to roam the area.

There is no need to bushwhack your way into this cache, it is within 10 feet of the trail. There are two obvious trail starting points, one is by the Wells Fargo on Prairie Center Drive and Plaza Drive, the other is by Buca di Beppo on Mitchell Rd and Highway 5. Starting at either point there is a paved walking trail that goes along MN Highway 5, follow that trial and your GPSr and you should find the cache.

I have encoded a third entrance point that might be a bit faster, but is more rugged.

As a bonus to the FTF, I am including a White Jeep Travel Bug in this cache.
