Dark Side of the Park Mystery Cache

INSTRUCTIONS
DOWNLOAD this mp3 file (right click [mac ctrl-click] -> save link to disk)(9.4MB) and transfer it to a portable music player. For those wishing to test the sound before arriving at the waypoint, there is a test track of alarm clocks going off before the actual program.

When you arrive at the WAYPOINT, begin the audio program.

Enjoy listening, but listen carefully: Glinda will be your guide. Listen for Glinda to utter a DIRECTION (ie. "North," "South," etc). When you hear a direction in the audio program (listen carefully), follow the yellow.. er, follow the PATH in that general direction once the MUSIC drops (when the beat kicks in). Continue to follow the yel.. path until the music stops. This process will REPEAT.

When the audio program nears an end (about 9:30 in) you will hear a MYSTERIOUS SOUND. It is at this point that you should search for the cache. Use the hint if there is trouble.

SOME GENERAL NOTES
Stay on the path; the first direction isn't exact, but you should be able to navigate this puzzle by using very basic common sense. It will become quite clear to you that you are on the right path.

Walk at a leisurely pace. Don't walk fast. Try to walk at a pace that is similar to the rhythm of the music, although you won't need to dance through the park. Just keep it simple. Also, don't back track or use the same path twice.

One minor thing: please excuse a moment in the audio program where my source material couldn't ensure the proper instruction. I beg your forgiveness for my vocal intrusion! My apologies.
