The Day We Met Event Cache

Five years ago, I met Hydee and Ddog at a geocaching event held at this location. Since that time, I have been lucky enough to marry Hydee, adopt Ddog and add a new baby boy to our family.

Coordinates are for a covered picnic area. There are two nearby. We'll have a Groundspeak Banner to mark the location.

Come join us and other fellow geocachers for an anniversary picnic, more conversation and the chance to see the Geocaching Quilt created from squares signed by attendees at the original event (GC26D6).

It's a potluck picnic, so bring whatever items you wish to share with the group, and post what you're bringing here so we don't end up all bringing Chocolate for Hydee (not like she'd complain or anything).

So, come join the fun, relax with some good food and drink, and help us celebrate the anniversary of the geocaching event that brought us together.

In addition to seeing the Geoquilt and celebrating, let's also plan on continuing the tradition begun at the 1st Washington Geocaching Picnic in July 01 -- collecting items from each attendee and creating a traditional cache from them. I will bring the container (ammo can), logbook and pen & pencil. Be thinking of that one special tchochke, Travel Bug or other item that you'd like to bring to add to the community chest!
