The Bodamer Log Cabin was built in 1832 and was the first log cabin
in Greenfield. It was dismantled, brought to this current site,
restored by the Greenfield Historial Society and dedicated as a
museum on September 7, 1969.
The historical society has the buildings open from 2:00-4:00 PM
on the 2nd and 4th Sundays during the months of
June-July-August.
This Log Cabin is listed on the Wisconsin Registered Historical
Landmarks as of 1993 and the Wisconsin Council for local
history.
This cache is not located near any of the structures. The
terrain is quite level, minor bushwhacking at the final feet to the
cache.
As this is a busy street, please limit your search to daylight
hours only.
