When was the last time you went to a Drive-in movie ?
If you are under the age of 35. chances are you've never been or don't remember.
Here's a chance to meet geocachers from around the whole state...maybe...
Well, anyway...hope you can make it for the fun. There are plenty of great caches to be found in the area before you come to the event, so come on down Route 55 and enjoy caching, southern-style....
There will be a logbook for all to sign and a special prize for the FTF.
Please; no pets,booze or gi-raffes...
There is one small glitch. Though the prices are very reasonable :
{Admission: $6 for Adults; $3 for children 3 - 11. No charge for children 2 and under}
the theater must charge $7 for a 'food license' per car if you bring outside food or drink.
They do , however, offer quite a selection of snackies at the snack bar. There are no $4.00 candy bars here, either ! { not recommended due to long wait}
Here are some pointers:
NO OPEN HATCHES MAY EXTEND BEYOND THE ROOF LINE
OF THE VEHICLE (bring rope or other suitable material to tie your
hatch down.)
There is a playground for the young travel bugs to run around and tire out. Bring pajamas !
I've seen people back their car in, open their hatches to mini-vans, SUV's and such and sit in the back of the car with the party in front.
BE ON TIME. As you can imagine, the place fills quickly and we won't be able to group together iffin you're late...
The early movie is traditionally kid-friendly with the second feature starting around 11:10 pm. Both are new releases usually.
You must have an FM radio. Hey; you get to test out that new surround sound you put in the cachemobile !
BRING FOOD AND LOTS OF IT !!!!!!!
