The cache is located in Savoy Mountain State Forest.
I've spent alot of time in these woods and thought it would be a great place for my first cache. There are several approaches to this lofty location. Off road vehicles are no longer allowed in Savoy Mountain State Forest. Please respect this. The cache is located off one of the trails and requires less than 200 feet of bushwhacking.
Update as of August 1, 2009:
You can no longer climb the tower as a result of a new State Police radio system attached to the tower. The bonus is that the road to the tower has been open quite frequently this summer.
