Kätkö esittelee Kuoreveden Hallin historiaa ja nykypäivää ilmailun ja ilmailuteollisuuden perspektiivistä. Kätkön pitäisi olla etsittävissä talvellakin.
The cache introduces historical and present time aviation and aviation industry in Halli, Kuorevesi. It should be able to find the cache also at winter.

- Kohde 1 on remontoitu historian havinaan. Ylimenokauden ajan (Lue: kunnes/jos löydän muun sopivan aloituspisteen) vastaus löytyy suoraan kuvauksesta. Paikalla toki sopii edelleenkin käydä hämmästelemässä maailman muuttuvaisuutta.

Halli on ollut suomalaisen ilmailutoiminnan keskeisiä kehityspaikkoja niin siviili- kuin sotilaspuolellakin. Tämä kätkö esittelee Hallin ilmailutoiminnan historiaan ja nykypäivään liittyviä kohteita. Kuljettavan reitin kokonaispituus lienee 3 -3,5 km. Useimpiin kohteisiin pääsee autolla lähes viereen - enimmillään pakollinen kävelymatka on n 200 m suuntaansa. Esiteltävien kohteiden lisäksi Hallissa toimivat Ilmavoimien Teknillinen Koulu ja Koelentokeskus.

Olet Karhumäen lentokonetehtaan entisen konttorin luona. Rakennuksessa toimii nykyisin Hallin ilmailuhistoriaa esittelevä museo ja valokuvanäyttely. Museo on avoinna kesäisin. Halli is one of the main locations while speaking about Finnish aviation - both military and civilian. This cache introduces both historical memorials and present activities of the work done for aviation in Halli. The total length of the route is about 3 - 3,5 km. Most locations are almost drive in points - the longest distance one needs to walk is about 200m (one way). Besides the locations to be introduced there are also Finnish Air Force Technical School and Test Flight Center in Halli.

You are next to a fighter aircraft. How many hours did DK-201 fly? ("Lentotunteja koneelle kertyi xxxx") This is number B.
About 10 m off the Draken there is a memorial for Lt Col Paavo Janhunen and test flight engineer Juhani Jääskeläinen. Count the sum of the digits at the plate in front of the stone. This is number C.

You are approaching the gate of an aviation industrial site. How many light poles there are from the main road to the gate? This is number D.
Step 4: Square of the flying brothers

This square is a memorial for Karhumäki brothers how were pioneers of Finnish aviation.
Find the plate and look which year the brothers came to Kuorevesi ("TULIVAT KUOREVEDELLE VUONNA XXXX"). Count the sum of the digits in the year. This is number E.

You are at yard of an aviation museum. There are yellow masts for the landing purposes. Count the amount of masts between the lake (east of the area) and the first museum building. All required masts can be seen in the yard. This is number F.
Step 6: Original office

You are next to the late office of Karhumäki aircraft factory. Nowadays there is a photo exhibition and a museum introducing aviation history of Halli. The museum and exhibition are open at summer time. Here you can have a peek to the airport area, too. If you are lucky, you might see some aircraft taking off or landing.
Next to the door of the office building there is a plate. How many years are there mentioned in the plate? This is number G.

The container is a small metal box. You need an iron tool (e.g. knife or screwdriver) or a magnet to get the container. While returning the box be careful with the position - in wrong position it might be impossible to get the box out again without a magnet.
