Die Johanneskirche ist eine der ältesten Kirchen in Wien und wurde teilweise über den Resten einer Siedlung aus der Römerzeit errichtet.

Das Areal neben der Kirche ist frei zugänglich. Führungen über die archäologischen Ausgrabungen aus der Römerzeit und dem Mittelalter gibt es von Mai bis Oktober an jedem ersten Sonntag im Monat.

Der Originalinhalt war:
  • Cachenote, Logblatt, Bleistift und Spitzer - bitte nicht entfernen!

  • TB "Klein Tuppi"

The Johanneskirche is one of the oldest churches in Vienna. It is partly built above a roman settlement.

The area beside the church is free accessable. Guided tours about the roman and the medieval archeological excavation take place from May to October at the first sunday each month.
