Souradnice cache “Via sacra” Vas zavedou k zacatku prostinke, ale o to pusobivejsi prirodni krizove cesty vybudovane podel dolní casti tzv. Certovy brazdy u Sázavy nad Sázavou. The coordinates of the cache “Via sacra” will lead You to the beginning of very unpretentious but very impressive stations of the cross built in a natural way along a lower part of so called Devil’s Furrow nearby central Bohemian town of Sazava.
Poustevník Prokop, dríve prebyvající z Prokopskem udolí u Prahy, zil v male jeskynce u reky Sázavy, kde mu delala spolecnost divoka zvirata. Pri modlidbách ho vsak stále rusil cert. Rozhodl se s ním zápasit a vyhrál. Vyhnat ho ale nemohl, protoze by zase skodil nekomu jinemu. Zabít take ne - byl to preci cert a ty zabít nejde. Tak se rozhodl, ze ho prinutí pracovat (Pane, jo ...). Zapráhl certa do pluhu a zacal s ním orat. Tak vznikla Certova brázda - pro nas podivuhodny terenní utvar, ktery se táhne severojiznim smerem 21 km (pri sirce 14-21m) od Sázavy az k Chotouni u Ceského Brodu, rodného Prokopova místa. Do dneska se z brázdy, poskozene zemedelskou cinností, zachovaly pouze zbytky, hlavne v lesnim prostredi. Brazdou v lese proteka potucek, o kterem se rika, ze az vyschne, nastane konec sveta. Louka u reky (pod silnici) se jmenuje Votocnice, podle toho, ze se tam poustevnik Prokop s certem pri orani otaceli.
S pomocí jinych certu Prokop vymytil les, urovnal teren a postavil kláster (za financni podpory knizete Oldricha, ktery se s Prokopem seznamil pri lovu jelena). Poustevník se stal Oldrichovym zpovedníkem, byl jmenován opatem klastera (se slovanskou liturgii) a vykonal mnoho zázraku. V roce 1053 poustevník Prokop umrel a v roce 1204 se po Ludmile, Václavu a Vojtechu stal ctvrtym ceskym svetcem.
U brazdy stoji staroceska chalupa, kterou ke konci predminuleho století koupil, opravil a zarídil malír Sobeslav H. Pinkas, deda Jirího Voskovce, ktery se zde narodil. Jedním z dodatecnych kouzel tohoto mista je podivuhodný fakt, že tam s Janem Werichem zahájili divadelní spolupráci Osvobozeneho divadla a napsali West Pocket Revue.
Projdete celou krizovou cestu, pozorne se vsimejte jednotlivých zastaveni a nezapomente papir a tuzku. Protoze signal v lese je velice spatny uvadim i alternativni zpusoby dosazeni kese.
1. Kes je pod jehlicim a listim na souradnicich severni sirka 49 53,3H, vychodni delka 014 54,1E.
2. Od praveho stromu nesoucího poslední napis smerujte (A+B+C+D) m v azimutu (A+C+E+F)stupnu.
3. Od posledního nápisu jdete severním smerem po lesni ceste a od spojnice s další cestou pokracujte doleva – celkem ujdete A*B dlouhych kroku.

Hermit St. Prokopius lived in a small cave near the Sazava river where wild animals accompanied him. A devil disturbed him during his prayers all the time. They wrestled and St.Prokopius won. The devil was forced to plough then – that‘s how the Devil’s Furrow (more than 13 miles long) was made up. In the furrow there is a small creek. The folk fame told that the end of the world will come when this creek would dried up. St. Prokopius built the Sazava monastery (with Slavic liturgy) and became its the first abbot. He died in the year 1053 and was sacrified in 1204 as a fourth Czech after St. Ludmila, St. Wenceslas and St. Adalbert.
An old Bohemian cottage near the furrow was bouht by a painter Pinkas at the end of the 19th century. His grandson, Czech and American actor George Voskovec was born there and his glorious collaboration with another admirated actor Jan Werich „The Liberated Theatre“ started also there.
Pass through all stations of the cross, notice carefully individual stations, and don’t forget paper and pencil. As signal in the forest is very weak the alternative ways how to find the cache are described bellow, too.
1. The cache is hidden under needles and leafs at coordinates: norther latitude 49 53,3H, eastern longitude 014 54,1E.
2. From the right tree supporting the last legend go (A+B+C+D) m in direction of (A+C+E+F)degrees.
3. From the last legend go to northern direction using the forest way. At the junction with other way turn to the left and continue. Walk altogether A*B steps.
