Geocache Description:

Flackwell Fields Cache is located not far from Carrington Junior School whose children helped create it and who will also monitor the cache activity online. There are some styles to negotiate so buggy's maybe out and the first field may have a couple of friendly horses.

The cache is a small plastic box with resealable lid located adjacent to the footpath not far from Pidgeon House Farm. Recommended parking at N 51° 35.985 W 000° 42.415 If you park in the recommended place there are some local conveniences (very handy if you've come a long way!). From the toilets cross the road and look for the footpath sign, go down the alley, once out the other side head in a straight line, you are looking for Sedgemoor Lane and a footpath sign. Alternatively for a dash and cache park nearer at N 51° 35.864 W 000° 42.484. For the dash and cachers the second parking co-ordinates are near to Sedgemoor Lane, then follow the footpath sign.

A group of 6 boys from Carrington Junior School have helped create this cache and they will be monitoring the website to see who has visited it. If you visit our cache please tell us the town (and country) you live in when you log your visit on this site so we can record it on a map at school.

When set (8th July 2005) the cache contained:

The Cherries Travel Bug
Usual Logbook and pencils
A whoopee cushion key ring
Chaos Marauder
A yoyo
Barclays Bank key ring
Bag of Gemstones
Steven Gerrard Footballer
Peru key ring
2 AA Batteries
Jessica Pencil

When you find our cache, please, please, please put it back in the same place and feel free to add some disguise.
