Placed in celebration of Canada Day 2005 this is a themed geo-cache. Please bring a lapel pin from your home to exchange at the site. Site is located off of the South Klondike Highway - Highway #2 and there are many safe locations to park your vehicle. Be cautious if crossing the highway, especially in low visibility (ie: fog).
The summit area of the South Klondike Highway is very scenic and the highway is ranked in the top 5 of Rand McNally's most scenic highways to travel in North America.
The cache overlooks spectacular International falls, near the geodetic US/Canada border marker. Easily accessible from late May to November, this cache may be impossible to locate in the winter due to heavy snowfall and drifting.
The cache is a small, clear plastic, round container and contains log book, pencil, Yukon crest pin, Yukon pin, white horse Yukon pin, Yukon flag pin, and Cdn flag pin.
Elevation: 3305' with a GPS accuracy of 18'.
