Interesting historic area. Parking area maintained by the US National park service. Just South of here, is Five Forks. New Five Forks Visitor Center opening soon. Coordinates to entrance 08.115/37.060. Cache is close to Highway US 460.
Updated 19 June 2009. Cache has been moved a few ft. to a slightly better location. Coords changed slightly using newer Garmin. Often had finders say coords are off, which seems to be case now, but only a couple yards/meters, using older Garmin GPS-72. New coords are N37.08.845 by W077.37.317 Beware of the 10 ft.deep crater by the parking area. It is somewhat cordoned off with orange tape. Down-graded the difficulty/terrain to 2/2. Fairly good path/paths leading to the vicinity of the cache, even in summer.
