Farní kostel Navštívení Panny Marie v Poštorné dal postavit panující kníže Jan II z Lichtenštejna. Stavba je nápadná volbou použitého materiálu, zejména zelene glazovanými strešními taškami.Stavební materiál, tvorený dvema sty druhu cihel, dlaždic a glazované keramiky , dodaly místní knížecí keramické závody. Kostel lze charakterizovat jako stavbu s prevahou historických novogotických prvku.Spojení použitého materiálu a impozantnosti, dané jedinecným architektonickým rešením a mohutností celé stavby, z níž vytvárí dílo, patrící mezi nejvýznacnejší dominanty dnešní Breclavi.
The Parish Church of the Annunciation in Poštorná was built by the reigning prince , Jan II of Liechtenstein. The building is striking in the choice of materials used, in particular the green glazed roof tiles. The building materials, consisting of two hundred type sof bricks, tiles and glazed ceramic roofing tiles, were supplied by the local prince´s ceramics works. The church
may be be described as having a predominance of Neo-Gothic elements. Thanks to the combination of the materials used and to the imposing nature of the building, created both by the singular architectonics design and by the massive proportions of the whole structure, the church is a unique piece of architecture, and one of the most significant landmarks of Breclav today.

2.verze - od 6.9.2006 : Cache byla znicena. V nedalekém keri byla nalezena spodní cást krabicky bez vícka a logbooku. Premísteno se zmenou souradnic.
