Obec Malsin lezi mimo hlavni turisticke trasy.
The township of Malsin lies outside the normal tourist routes - the advantage to this is that the town can offer the undisturbed richness of nature and plenty of hiking trails. In the warm months, the surrounding forests invite mushroom picking as well as blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. The Preserved Area Certova stena a Luc lies close to the town, on both sides of the Vltava River on the steep rocky slopes of the river valley.
The Pilgrim Chapel of the Virgin Mary was built on the rocky promontory near Turnberg in 1856. Before that there might have been the watchfort along the two provincial trails. There is a nice view of Sternstein / Austria / from the chapel.
