Come one, come all, including the kids on Saturday, August 6, 2005. The confluence begins at 11:00 AM, prizes awarded at 2:00 PM. Any cachers traveling through the area are most welcome.
Please drop us a note on the site page so we have some idea how many to plan for and who is bringing what.
Originally, we were led to this wonderful park site by Little Known Park Finder 2; named for John Sutherland and owned by Ashgrove Cement Co., it is located approximately one mile from the Montana City exit on I 15 - Coming from the North, just turn left at the stop sign from the interstate exit and follow that road.(Turn right if coming from the south.)
There is plenty of room for bocce, folf and horseshoes(we'll provide the horseshoes), plus stanchions for volleyball if anyone has a net, along with numerous picnic tables. We will provide a gazebo tent if it looks like rain.
There will also be a kid's trade cache. Kids, bring a caching item, and take home a cool new toy. The adults can trade off bugs as usual.
Now for the GEO fun!
Definitions:
GEOtology - the study of the GEOcaching mind
GEOphysics - (the cachers' kind) - the study of the use of the FORCE to aid in finding concealed OBJECTS.
To earn your Master's in GEOphysics, with a minor in GEOtology,
come follow the GEOgraphy path,
find the 8 GEO hides amidst the GEOlogy,
fill in your GEOmetric puzzle card,
find the cords for the final GEOcache,
take a GEO object,
claim a GEO prize and receive your GEO diploma.
Each handle who plays the game, wins a cool GEO prize.
Finally, there will be *10* special prizes given away for something special in your cacher's life.
We had a blast last year; we hope to see double the people and handles this year!
