Rarely known area, easy walk.
Secteur rarement connu, promenade facile.
After the traditional cache being “muggled” twice this cache is now a magnetic micro, ingeniously thought up by my son as being teenager proof & he should know!
The cache is hidden about 30 minutes return walk if you go in an anti-clockwise direction from Plan D’Eau parking, or it takes about an hour if you wish to walk the whole lake. 5 minutes from St Jean Parking.
The lake is good to walk round in all seasons (not too bad terrain – we’ve done it carrying a baby in a back pack) and there is a camp-site, children’s play area, café, slide into the lake, horseriding, pedlos & water ski ride there.
On your way up to “Plan D’Eau” visit St Hilaire’s cemetery. This is the oldest (and spookiest!) cemetery in France. If you’ve a strong stomach go see the 40,000 skulls from a 14th century plague.
Après que la cachette traditionnelle étant « muggled » deux fois cette cachette soit maintenant une micro magnétique, ait ingénieux imaginé par mon fils en tant qu'étant preuve d'adolescent et il devrait savoir !
La cachette est promenade de retour cachée d'environ 30 minutes si vous allez dans un sens anti-horaire du parking 1, ou cela prend environ une heure si vous souhaitez marcher tout le lac.
Il est bon marcher le lac en rond en toutes les saisons (terrain pas trop mauvais - nous l'avons fait portant un bébé dans un sac à dos) et il y a un camp-site, le terrain de jeux des enfants, le café, la glissière dans le lac, l'équitation, les pedlos et le tour de ski de l'eau là.
Sur votre chemin jusqu'au « Plan D' Eau » visitez le cimetière de rue Hilaire. C'est le plus vieux (et le plus spookiest !) cimetière en France. Si vous faites disparaître un estomac fort voyez les 40.000 crânes d'une 14ème peste de siècle.
