Geocache Description:

This cache is located just off of the Apple Loop Trail in Confluence State Park in the Sanctuary Area of the State Park. The cache has a log book and can hold some small itmes. There are not any contents in the cache when it was placed. A collection of items from the June is bustin out event cache will be placed in this cache.

As time goes by, we are seeing more caches hidden in our State Parks. Most of the Park Ranger are in agreement with caches being placed providing that we follow a few simple but very important ground rules. The first and most important thing is, we need to personally make contact with them and show them what we want to hide and where we want to hide the cache. The next thing is the paper work that needs to be completed. Many thanks has to be given to Patudles for doing most of the initial leg work and making the initial contact with the Park Ranger. The Park Ranger went with us to see where and what we wanted to hide our cache. The placement of this cache will take you into the habitat area of many wildlife and birds. While hunting for this cache and the others allow yourself time to enjoy the sights and sounds of the many birds and animals that are located in the park. This cache is disabled between December 1 - March 1. Please do not try and search during this time, as part of the park is closed for Bald Eagle nesting. This cache is designed to be more difficult than others. To claim it as a find, your signature shall be written in the log book provided.. False claims of finds shall be deleted. without notice.
