This cache is located in the area of the former Celtic hillfort area above the Stradonice village by Nizbor - upon the scenic lookout hill. I recommend to start from Stradonice graveyard following the educational path up to the cross and further.
Nejslavnejsi keltske oppidum Cech bylo postaveno na bridlicovem vrchu "Hradiste" v nadmorske vysce 380 m. Nekdy po polovine 2. stoleti zde Keltove zalozili svá obydli, ktera nejdrive nechranilo zadne opevneni. Nejstarsi faze stavby opevneni probehla kolem roku 120 pr. Kr. V prubehu jeho rozmachu a existence byla opevnenim chranena plocha o celkove rozloze zhruba 90,3 ha. Prvni popis pochazi z roku 1845, do moderni historie vstoupilo hradiste 2. srpna 1877 po nahodnem nalezu zhruba 200 kusu zlatych minci (tzv. duhovek). Vice informaci najdete zde: www.celticeurope.cz.

The most famous Celtic oppidum in Bohemia has been built on a slatey hill "Hradiste" (The Hillfort) at a height of 380 m. The Celts have founded their fortified settlement in this palce sometime after half of the 2nd century - originally with no fortification. The eldest building stage comes from around 120 BC. The later fortification protected 90,3 ha area during it´s expansion and life cycle. The first reference of the oppidum comes from 1845, but the oppidum has been mostly known after approximately 200 golden coins had been accidentally discovered in August 2nd 1877.
