Abwechslungsreiche Wanderung auf einen Aussichtsberg von dem man ein außergewöhnliches 360 Grad Panorama genießt das die ganze Steiermark von Slowenien bis zum Dachstein einschließt.
Interesting hike to a viewpoint that offers an outstanding 360 degree panorama from Slovenia to Dachstein.
Auf diesen Gipfel führen sehr viele Wege die alle folgendes gemeinsam haben. Sie sind bestens Markiert, leicht zu gehen und ziemlich lang. (Round trip 5 1/2 Stunden ohne Pausen)
Der hier vorgeschlagene Weg ist der wohl abwechslungsreichste und schönste. Noch dazu wird er zumindest im ersten Teil nicht sehr oft begangen.
Ausgangspunkt ist das Wirtshaus Kapitel. Von dort auf Weg Nr. 537 über die idyllisch gelegene Hubertus Kapelle am Brendelstall ( im Sommer bewirtschaftet ) vorbei zur Abzweigung am Gatter. Ab hier folgt man dem Schild „Gleinalmhaus“ bzw. Weg Nr. 539.
Beim Gleinalmhaus angekommen spart man sich die Jause besser für den Rückweg auf und geht gleich weiter auf den Gipfel.
Hier kann man die ganze Steiermark von oben betrachten. Wirklich ein außergewöhnliches Panorama.
Der cache ist auf dem Weg zum nahen Lenzmoarkogel unter Steinen versteckt.
Alternativen: Ausgangspunkt Gasthof Krautwasch. Viel begangen.
Vom Cache „Ruine Hauenstein“ GCJG8E über Weg 539 zum Gatter und dann wie oben.
Aus dem Raum Knittelfeld hat man ab Hinterlobming 3 Varianten zur Auswahl.
Eine sehr schöne MTB Tour geht von Neuhof zum Gleinalmhaus und von dort über Nr. 539 und ab dem Gatter weiter auf Nr. 535 zum Krautwasch und weiter nach Neuhof. Wahr lange Zeit meine Lieblingstour. Aber nicht für Anfänger geeignet.
There are a lot of hiking routes leading to this summit. All of them have the following in common. They are well marked, easy to walk on and rather long.(Round trip 5 1/2 hours without breaks)
The route recommended here is the most beautiful and interesting.
Stating point is the parking at the inn Kapitel. From there follow path Nr. 537 to the idyllic Hubertus chapel passing by Brendelstall you will reach the “Gatter” (or gate) where you should follow the sign to the inn “Gleinalmhaus” on path Nr. 539. When arriving at the inn rather save your hunger for the way back.
From the summit you can overlook hole Styria from the south Slowenian boarder to the Dachstein in the NE. The panorama is really breathtaking and full 360 degree.
The cache is on the path to the “Lenzmoarkogel” hidden under stones.
Alternatives: Start at the inn Krautwasch . Most common path.
Start from cache “Ruine Hauenstein” GCJG8E and use path Nr. 539 until you reach the “Gatter” (gate).
When coming from the Knittelfeld area use one off the three routes starting from Hinterlobming.
A perfect ATB route is from Neuhof to the “Gleinalmhaus” and using path Nr. 539 and after the “Gatter” (gate) path Nr. 535 to get to the inn Krautwasch. From there use the paved road to get back to Neuhof. This was my favourite route for many years. Not suitable for beginners!
