A meet and greet event/potluck for all geocachers, friends,family and interested individuals. This event will take place at the Bonner Park Picnic shelter from 11:30am til 4:30pm on Saturday June 4th. Please bring your own beverages, I'll supply plasticware, plates and napkins.
BILBO returns home to find a gathering at his house...it is a lot less than the party he deserved so I'm throwing him one....
All geocachers, friends and family are welcome to this POTLUCK gathering celebrating the release of "The Final Stage" *TABA 19*. This will give everyone a chance to put names and faces to some of the caches you have found and gather ideas, clues, and insight into the psyches of some of the people who play this game.
I have reserved the shelter during the time posted above only to keep the food dry. (I know that a little dampness does not keep geocachers inside as evidenced by Jen and Dean's Spring Fling). Please drop a note to this site with an idea of what you might be bringing in the way of food.
Bonner Park has a great playground as well as areas for basketball, softball, volleyball and frisbee. I will be bringing my bocce ball game and a volleyball and you are welcome to bring any other lawn type games people might enjoy.
There will be a KID's CACHE RUN available and I am working on a caching event for all as well so bring your GPSr's
As an added ***BONUS*** I will be releasing the coordinates to "The Final Stage" TABA 19 so bring all the clues you have collected thus far if you want to go after this cache before it is released on line. Bilbo and Gandalf have donated a chunk of change to be used as a first finder's prize and the cache itself has a sizeble treasure.
