This is a lovely walk through forestry commission land and then out onto open moorland, it involves a gentle climb uphill for the main start of the walk. There were sheep grazing on the open moorland when we were there so please take care in lambing season. The walk takes you over a clapper bridge and up to the remains of an old farm. As the last part of the walk is on open moorland please be aware of Dartmoor weather - walking boots are recommended.
The cache is in a tupperware container and includes a logbook and various goodies. Suggested parking is at N50. 38.361 W003 53.836 There are toilet and picnic facilities further down the road, although the site of the cache makes a lovely place to stop for a bite to eat before heading home.
