|
|
Captain: | So, Jolly, did you do what I told you to do? |
Boatswain: | I did Sir. *burp* I did... for the most part at leahst. |
Captain: | What do you mean "for the most part" you either did or didn't. Which one is it? |
Boatswain: | In that case it's neither, Sir. I j-jusht might have losht the my sense of direction shomewhere. *hiccup* |
Captain: | *AARRGGGGGGH* Shit Jolly, can you imagine the trouble you're putting me through? Now, tell me exactly what you did with my stash. |
Boatswain: | Well, ash you remem-ber I started from thissh location and walked directly northwards, just like you t-told me. |
Captain: | You walked the two thousand steps didn't you? |
Boatswain: | If I recall co-rrecly I walked, *burp* 773 steps until I stumbled upon something and fell down. Luckily I cshecked that I had all the sthuff with me. Unfortunately I broke the sextant so I guessh I didn't continue north from here. |
Captain: | You are a real JERK, did you know that? |
Boatswain: | Aye Sir. I think my course might have turned shlightly or chonsiderably to the port side, but I shtill walked s-straight forward for 6651 steps and hid the treasure chest. I think I might have gone through some familiar place in between. Afther hiding it I turned straight to starboard and walked 1136 steps until I came to a ditch. Thish put me back on the right track sho I eventually found my way back here. |
Captain: | But which ditch was it? |
Boatswain: | I bet my rr-ight teshticle that it was the one running north. *grin* |
Captain: | Goddamit Jolly, that sounds like I'm never going to see my stash again. For your sake I really hope what you told me is true... |
