Bei „N53°59.380 - O10°48.825„ oder bei „N53°59.410 - O10°49.536“ solltet Ihr euch einen Parkplatz suchen. Man könnte auch hier „N53°58.845 – O10°49.783“ parken, allerdings sehen das die Anwohner nicht so gerne und es ist ausserdem auch noch ein Zuweg für Feuerwehr und Rettungsdienst!
Den Rest (ca 2km) müsst Ihr nun zu Fuss oder per Rad zurücklegen. Alle Wege sind mit Kinderwagen oder auch per Rollstuhl mit leichter Hilfestellung befahrbar, allerdings die letzten 80m nicht. Da dies teilweise Naturschutzgebiet ist, leint bitte eure Hunde an.
Einen kleinen Zwischenstopp könnt Ihr bei „N53°59.132 - O 10°49.193“ einlegen. Hier soll sogar einmal Klaus Störtebecker gehaust haben.
Bei den Ziel-Koordinaten müsst Ihr bis an den „Anfang“ des Kanals gehen. (Achtet auf die Fließrichtung). Von hier aus „50m in 180° (Süden)„, dort befindet sich der Cache (Aufbewahrungsbehälter einer Atemschutzmaske).
Dieses Gewässer gehört zum Jagtgebiet eines Eisvogelpärchen. Wenn Ihr euch also ruhig verhaltet könnte es durchaus sein das Ihr sie zu Gesicht bekommt. Ich habe sie an häufigsten im Mündungsbereiches des Baches gesehen.
