Parking can be found at N51 19.073 E000 30.431.Take care and cross the road to the lower Bell. Find the post box, Note down it number - MEA0 BC0 Walk down the road, taking care as there is no footpath. You can find Kit's Coty @ N51 19.B9A E000 30.B8(C-1). At the remains of the Neolithic chambered long barrow that Samuel Pepys also saw and wrote:
Three great stones standing upright and a great round one lying on them, of great bigness, although not so big as those on Salisbury Plain. But certainly it is a thing of great antiquity, and I am mightily glad to see it.. You need to note down between which years was the barrow built. D500 and 2E000 BC
