Geocache Description:

Here is my first multicache for geocachers who dare to have an different experience.Hiking and
climbing required.

This is a two level multicache. The idea is as follows:First you have to find the first microcache. Its
coordinates are fully given. At this microcache, you don't leave any logs, you are just being informed
for some parts of the coordinates of the second and final point.
The first stop of this multicache is a small listerine box with a Neodymium magnet
attached inside. It is placed at an iron fence at the foot of the mountain Imittos, at the area of Ano Glyfada.
The theme of the cache is the church of Profitis Ilias at the mountain over Glyfada. This white small church
can be seen from a long distance, almost from every area of the southern coastline of Athens.

You can park your car somewhere near the coordinates:
N37 53.121
E23 46.570
The coordinates of the plastic container high at the mountain, are the following:
N37 52.ABC
E23 47.KLM
So at the microcache you will find information about the actual values of the ABC and KLM.
You are not allowed to log at the microcache, it is only for your information about where to keep looking for
the actual cache. As you will find out, the plastic container is a lot higher that the microcache!
Just follow the path to the east and at many points there are signs that show you the way you have to follow
to reach the church of Profitis Ilias. When you reach the church, trust your GPS and keep on climbing !
From now on there is not any specific path, just follow your senses.
Please stay alerted, above the church of Profitis Ilias you may find snakes on your way !
I found one small (about half a meter long) on my path.Be careful where you step to ! ! !
Keep your eyes open !

The cache consists of the following items: a logbook and a pen in a seperate bag, a geocaching declaration in
Greek at one side and in English at the opposite, my own travel bug called Xelonaki_GR that starts its journey
to the world, a packet of three aromatic handkerchiefs, one small plastic horse, one small plastic bull,
one small plastic octopus, one music cd with the album "Parade of Athletes 2004" by Tiesto, one Golden Canadian
geocoin and one golden keychain.

The view from the mountain is breathtaking. All the southern suburbs of Athens at your feet, from Pireas
to Vouliagmeni!
Hiking shoes and clothes are a must and also have with you water.
At the days near the 20th of July when Profitis Ilias celebrates, there is a huge amount of people of every age
that climb this path just to visit the church and honour Profitis Ilias. These days, the path to the church
is illuminated, so you can actually see it from kms away!

P.S. The iron fence of the first point is the perfect fence for geocachers. When you reach it, search it
careful and you will find out why ! ! !
