Geocache Description:

The Liberty Bell Garden, Jerusalem's central city park was established in 1976 in honor of the United States Bicentennial. A replica of Philadelphia's Liberty Bell is located in the center of the park.

The park is full of life, from picnics, pickup basketball (just about everyday), rollerblading and outdoor concerts. It is located adjacent to the Inbal Larome- Hotel so access to this cache site is great for tourist with limited time. Surrounding the park are some of the most interesting neighborhoods in Jerusalem. One of my favorites is the German Colony and Baka just a five-ten minute walk south of the park

The cache is a plastic tube stuffed in a old short length of bicycle tube, for waterproofing and camouflage. The cache is above the sign and just over to the right about an arms length under the bush. I "threaded" the tube to a wire under the bush.(I used to keep the cache container in a "clean" sock but I'm taking a break from this unique method).

Just step up on the bench and look under the branches. I'm telling you this so you can be more aware of the muggles and make a quick find. (If a muggle sees you there is a 50% chance the cache will be gone afterwards... don't feel bad... just let me know if muggles were there and I'll perform a maintenance check). Every so often the park's gardener cleans up and even prunes the branches... so replace the cache among the branches on the concrete wall in a manner that the gardener will less likely see it. Thanks.

Good luck (ba-ha tsla-cha in Hebrew)
